Reading List

The rest of my break was pretty calm. 

I will be honest; I don’t know exactly what I should be putting up here so I was snooping around the interweb at other Author blogs. I gathered a few ideas. I basically collected the information that they give advice to fellow writers and beginning writers as well as I have seen a few ‘current reading list’. I thought to myself: “Hey! I can put the books I have recently read down with what I though!” So that is what this post is. 
 
Usually I read super Fantasy books. You know, different world or different creatures but recently I have been reading books about normal humans that are skilled. These skills tend to create spies or thieves!

Thieves Like Us was a very interesting book and so was its sequel. Basically it is about a group of skilled kids that work for a man name  Coldhart and enjoy living in the money. This book basically follows Jonah who is a computer genius/hacker and was thrown into jail. He was rescued from jail  and brought to Coldhart and offered the job. He has to decide whether he will  help them or go back to a normal life. I love the characters in this book so I will put them up!
 Con is the girl in the pink shirt farthest to the left. She is great in hypnotism and loves nothing more than money; very greedy people just like Coldhart. 
Patch is the boy with the eye patch; under the patch he has a glass eye that he teases Motti about all the time. His job is locks as he is the locksmith for the group. Motti is the security guy that gets the group around the  different systems so they can get into the vaults.Tye used to be a smuggler and she is great with hand to hand fighting and is the getaway car/bus/train/plane driver. 

This is a first book in a series and I will be flat out honest: I never thought I would read the book. I am not a person who reads that many romance novels. I mean, romance is fine in a book but I prefer it as a sub plot and not the main driving force of a story. A book with a title that starts with  “I’d tell you I love you” is something I would not usually grab off of a shelf. After walking past it ten times and staring at the “but then I’d have to kill you” I decided to read the back. 

The book is about Cammie (nickname comes from a Chameleon) who is the daughter of the headmistress/principal of a school for gifted girls. Well, that is the cover story of the school. In truth, it is a school for spies. Cammie with her group of friends end up getting knee deep into a ton of trouble throughout the series and it was a really fun read that was also very suspenseful at other times. I honestly enjoyed it, but then again, if I don’t
enjoy a book I just stop reading.

Heist soceity was written by the same author as the first book/series I mentioned and it was a fun read. I dont know, something about being a thief is just fun to read. Anyway, the main character quits the family business which isn't exactly legal, but because of some events she is forced to join back into the business in order to save her dad from being killed.
